I hate this rug in my livingroom. But alas it is hubbies and I can't give it away. :(

AUGUST 12 - RIDE IN YOUR HOOD

1. Your Ride: Show us your wheels. What you use to get around. If you don't want us to see the whole car, van, SUV,or Broom... then just take a picture of your favorite part of your ride. If you don't have a vehicle, get creative.


2. One Mile Away: Drive away from where you live and take a picture. What kind a view would we have if we were in your hood?

3. You're favorite part of where you live: Show me you're favorite place. Is it Starbucks, a really cool park? Is it the green grass that lines the sidewalks or the big tall buildings?

I had to take the picture of the picture in the cookbook....hey I was sick, give me a break. It is Peppered Chicken and Shrimp Jambalaya and it is Veeerrrrryyyyy Yummy! MMmmmmmmmmm!

It was a toss up between these two. They are not for me they are for my kids.....well they are for me too, cause if they're not in the house my kids drive me insane!!!!
(ie) Have you gone grocery shopping yet? (x a kajillion)

Favorite Appliance

I was going to be really sassy and post a picture of a......how can I put it nicely..."Buzzer". LOL! But since I don't own one, I guess my favorite appliance would be my stove. I really love cooking and baking, I just don't like the cleanup and weight gain that comes with it! ;o)

My old brass and glass makeup table. It is used as my bedside table now but back then it was so covered in hairspray that the glass looked opaque. LOL!

My mom use to crimp my hair for me when I was in grade 8 (1988). This is not the original one, that one was pink and white, I bought this one a year ago so I could crimp my daughters hair, and straight iron my own.
